The Venetian plaster is one of the most prestigious among
the of products of Bericalce. As it is a very particular finishing,
it can be applied and finished with a cloth spatula, smoothen
with a dull aspect or easily made shiny with a stainless steel
spatula.
The grinded minerals mixed to the lime gives the basic colors
of the various shades of Venetian Plaster.
The main aspect of the Venetian Plaster is due to the careful
granular selection of the minerals that together with the
lime makes the product easy to be applied with a high final
performance.
The product can be applied both on internal as well as external
walls: must important is that the surface be compact and free
of dust or other insubstantial parts.
Venetian plaster has a fine density, therefore we suggest,
for external surfaces, to put a rich primer coat of intonachino
with other two coats of venetian plaster as to reach a magor
consistency of the product which will result to be more resistent
in time.
For particular difficult surfaces, we suggest the application
of the vinyl consolidating insulator of Bericalce.

Application
suggestments |
|
a) The product must be applied
in more coats, using the typical stainless steel spatula
b) To help the fixing of the primer coat, one must
consider the absorption of the surface where the product
is applied and if necessary wet it; the marmorino must
be of the right density always in consideration of the
absorption of the surface.
c) We suggest not to press too much the product
during the primer coat, this favours the fixing and creates
major adherence for the other coats.
d) After application, the product will show various
shades, created by the fantasy of the decorator.
e) The product can be enhanced by applying "grassello
lucido"
f) The finished product can be treated with wax
or soap for a major protection and final brightness. |
