Production of basic plaster lime - Maltafix

Maltafix is a product composed of micro-filtered grassello, fine sand and selected micro-marbles with a sieving lower than 1mm.
Specific additives improve the mechanic qualities of resistance, plastics and application.
Once dry, the product is very resistant and compact, maintaining its natural transpiring capacity of the products based on "grassello".
Maltafix, with this composition, is a classic medium-aged mortar and lends itself for several function in the building field:

- restoring of aged plasters with missing parts or large hollows to stabilize;
- base levelling for coloured finishings, evening the absorptions;
- restoring levelling for surfaces where old plaster have been removed or to cover coarse mineral finishings, like "Venezia", etc.;

Maltafix can be finished with a cloth-mortarboard, therefore will have the classic aspect of fine mortar.
According to needs, it can be intergrated with other products, as cement, hydraulic lime, plaster, etc.
On difficult surfaces we suggest application of vinyl consolidating insulator of "Bericalce".
